Hair system in summer

If possible, always change the system and re-glue in a cold room. Otherwise, switch to the late evening and ensure there is sufficient cool air. If possible, always try to adhere to the "no sweating for 24 hours" rule after bonding. This will ensure that the adhesive really sets properly and that you enjoy a secure hold for longer.

Your change interval may be slightly shorter in summer, this is completely normal. Many customers have a different summer and winter rhythm, e.g. two weeks in summer and three weeks in winter. This way, you can ensure that your hair system is ideally secured at all times.

Condition your hair even more intensively! Hair dries out more quickly in summer, so make sure you take sufficient care with spray care, Soft Care and the Hair Treatment. You can use the Spray Care several times a day, especially on beach days. As a preventative measure, use our Color Treatment every 2-3 days to protect your hair from fading.

If you swim with your hair in the pool or sea, you should make sure that you rinse it out promptly with clear water. This will protect your hair from drying out. Then work in some spray and Soft Care to keep your hair nice and smooth.

We know that the front is your personal figurehead and that people like to run their hands through your hair from there. However, make sure that you don't place your hands/fingers directly on the front, especially if you sweat a lot. The more you work with your hands on your front, the more likely it is that the adhesive strength will diminish.

Does your front come off easily from the pool or sweat? Don't panic, you don't have to re-stick it straight away. Our best tip: Spray some System Remover onto a cotton bud and apply to the affected area, blow-dry the whole thing and press the front down firmly again. In most cases, the system will tighten perfectly again. If not, you may need to replace the front.

You should enjoy the summer to the full, and of course that includes a dip in the sun. However, UV radiation can lighten your hair system, so if possible you should not expose your hair to the full sun for hours on end. We recommend using a head covering instead.

In addition, you should definitely use our Color Treatment as preventive color protection in your respective shade. And secondly, we recommend using the Soft Care in the morning, as we have included UV protection here, which also has a protective effect.
