You should wash your hair every 3-5 days. To do this, apply Hair Wash to your hair, work it in and then rinse it off. Then apply the Hair Treatment to damp hair and leave it on for 5 minutes before rinsing it out.
Cleaning the hair system in brief
If, after a few days, the front is due to be re-glued or completely replaced, remove the area to be re-glued or the entire hair system evenly using the System Remover. Then place the system in the System Cleaner for approx. 1-2 hours and wash it through 1-2 times with Deep Cleaner. In the meantime, remove any adhesive residue from your scalp with the Skin Cleaner and then wash it with Deep Cleaner to remove any remaining residue. If necessary, you can use Hold Extender or Skin Protector for a stronger hold.
My system comes loose after just a few days - is that normal?
Don't panic, this can happen and is not entirely unusual. The scalp and system first have to get used to each other, and the adhesive strength will definitely increase over time. A different adhesive may also work better for you. If you have any problems with the hold, just get in touch with us and we will find a solution together.
I think my hair is still too long or thick. What can I do?
Sure, you had no or little hair before and suddenly you have a lot. It's not unusual that looking in the mirror can be unfamiliar at first. So before we get straight back to the scissors to shorten or thin out your hair, give it a few days. After the first wash, your own styling and getting used to it, your perception often changes and the hair system lies a little better than when it's fresh. If you still don't like it, no problem: just get in touch with us and arrange a free follow-up appointment.
Why is the 24-hour rule so important?
After re-gluing the system, you should allow the adhesive to dry out completely for 24 hours and sweat as little as possible during this time. This way you can enjoy it for longer and it will stay perfectly in place for the next few days. Care pays off here and you won't have to touch up or rework anything in the days that follow.
My system is losing some hair. Is this normal?
Yes, especially at the beginning, the system loses individual hairs when washing, brushing, sleeping etc.. As long as you don't pull out any tufts when combing, everything is ok. Therefore, when combing, please make sure you follow the correct technique and use the care products, especially Spray Care.
What should my hairdresser look out for when cutting the sides?
Simply separate the hair from the system from your own hair using clips to avoid cutting into the system. Also make sure to maintain the natural transition and not get too short here.
Summer vacation and heat with a hair system - what to consider?
So that you can enjoy your summer vacation with a hair system without any worries, we have summarized everything you need to know about preparation, packing list and care on site in a video. Watch the video here
Basically, you should follow these 7 rules for ideal comfort in summer and in hot weather:
1. your change interval may be slightly shorter, this is completely normal. Many customers have a different summer and winter rhythm, e.g. two weeks in summer and three weeks in winter.
2. change the system and re-glue, if possible always in a cold room. Otherwise, switch to the late evening and ensure sufficient cool air. If possible, always try to adhere to the rule "do not sweat for 24 hours" after bonding.
3. care for your hair even more intensively! Hair dries out more quickly in summer, so make sure you take sufficient care with Spray Care, Soft Care and Hair Treatment. If your hair is exposed to a lot of sunlight, apply our Color Treatment in good time to protect it from fading.
4. if you sweat a lot, avoid fiddling with your hair system too often, especially the front. You should also avoid vigorous combing while you are sweating profusely, otherwise parts of the front can come loose more quickly.
5. maximize your hold! With our two additional products, the Hold Extender and the Skin Protector, you can get even more hold for your hair system.
6. your front comes off easily from the pool or sweat? Don't panic, you don't have to re-glue it straight away. Spray on some System Remover, blow-dry the whole thing and press the front down firmly again. In most cases, the system will tighten perfectly again. If not, you may have to replace the front.
7. speaking of the pool: don't really trust it? Just carefully put your head under water to gain confidence. Then you can also do the "sailor's scoop" 😉
